Unlocked HTC 8X getting new 20005 firmware update
Oded dropped us a line to let us know his unlocked HTC 8X has received a firmware update to version 20005 (up from 20003 in December), and the bootloader is now version 0.0.1532.20 (162966).
It is not clear what’s new in the update, but it is rumoured to reduce the space occupied by the OS in the “Other” segment by about 1 GB, essential for low-storage devices such as the 8GB HTC 8X or 4 GB HTC 8S.
