The highest-rated history app in the marketplace has been updated. With this update, the experience is even better – we added:

• new animations and transitions to take advantage of the new hardware on Windows Phone 8
• email sharing (as requested by many of our users)
• small live tile improvements on Windows Phone 8
• ability to pin the live tile from the app
• and, of course, the are additional ‘under-the-hood’ improvements to improve performance and reliability

As always, you will be able to view historical events for any day in the year, with associated wiki article, and have a live tile that updates with historic tidbits that happened on that day.
