Readers who were around in the Windows Mobile days will know there were quite a few “fake” windows mobile phones produced in China which simulated a Windows Mobile UI, but were in fact dumb phones.
Now it seems Windows Phone has become popular enough to also get the rip-off treatment, with the Lemon T109 Dual-SIM phone being offered for only 2999 Rupees.
The device offers features not even found on Windows Phone, such as an automatic phone call recorder and the King Movie Player, not to mention dual SIM support and a high resolution HVGA screen.
In many ways Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, so hopefully we will see many more of these devices pop up.
