High Quality YouTube playback once again broken in Windows Phone apps
It seems as regular as clockwork changes in YouTube’s API has once again resulted in Windows Phone developers and users scrambling to get their apps working again.
At present both MetroTube and SuperTube are unable to play high quality or HD quality video, leaving users with the SD-quality stream.
We wont go so far to say Google is maliciously sabotaging 3rd party YouTube apps, but I think if Google did make an app for Windows Phone users will not be stuck waiting every few months for fixes to 3rd party apps to arrive.
