Windows Phone 8 taking over fastest in RSA, Middle East
Adduplex tweeted this chart showing the current proportion of Windows Phone 7 to Windows Phone 8 handsets as detected by their ad network.
The graph shows places like South Africa and Israel Windows Phone 8 handsets form a large proportion of the Windows Phones in the country, and I think this does not reflect on how fast Windows Phone 8 is selling there, but at underperformance of Windows Phone 7 in the regions, e.g. not supporting Hebrew in Israel at all.
The good news however is that the graph indicates that Windows Phone 8 is seeing better adoption there, which will hopefully mean 2013 will be a much better year in terms of sales performance for Windows Phone than 2012.
